Hepatic Encephalopathy Precipitated by Fecal Impaction

Abstract

|
A case of hepatic encephalopathy developed in a 72year old woman with mild degree of cirrhosis. The event was precipitated by several hard fecal impaction, an unreported precipitant. No other potential causes were demonstrated, Symptoms promptly resclved following disimpaction.
